Many people see the dollar signs! They want money, and they want profit. New investors get in thinking about what is in it for them, and then guess what?
Nothing happens! They get no deals! No one calls!
Why do you think this is?
Bottom line....They got ahead of them selves!
DO NOT THINK ABOUT THE MONEY! MONEY IS SECONDARY!
If you want to be successful, you need to be a Problem Solver!
That is your role. Come to the table with a high desire to help someone out of a problem they have.
If you can figure out how to solve problems, then you will have people pounding your door down to help them.
Then guess what, the money starts to flow!
Remember, your Real Estate Investor Strategy is to be a problem solver. You need to be an Advisor, not someone trying to take their money, and an advocate, someone looking out for their benefit. When you are working with a seller, you need to put themselves in their shoes. Find out what exactly the are looking for. Of course they will say they want top dollar, but you need to find out what for? Is it to pay off bills, do they really need the money now, or do they just want to get out the home?
Present yourself as one who is working hard to help them figure it out, and be confident! That way, you will be seen as an advocate on the same side of the table as they are...and you will close more deals! That is what I call Real Estate Investor Strategy!
If you plan on being someone who excels in this industry, you need to remember this Real Estate Investor Strategy:
1. Be a Problem Solver !
2. Be an Advisor !
3. Be their Advocate!
