There are thousands of products on the site for you to choose and become an affiliate with. The first of my affiliate marketing techniques is to do research on the product you are interested in, before signing up as an affiliate. When you are in clickbank, rank the product by highest popularity first. Promoting a popular affiliate product will guarantee that people will already know about the product you are promoting, and you will be guaranteed to get targeted traffic to your website or blog once you create one. Now don\'t get me wrong, I\'m not saying that you shouldn\'t ever promote products that aren\'t so popular or those that are brand new on the market, but I have found in my personal experience, that as a beginner, it is much easier to promote the products that are the most popular.
The next one of my affiliate marketing techniques is to make sure that you promote a product that has a high %refd. When browsing the clickbank marketplace, you will be able to view the %refd for each product underneath the title of each one. % refd basically means \"% referred\", or in other words, the percentage of sales that are referred to customers by the affiliate. Make sure that this number is high. I usually only promote a clickbank product if the %refd is greater than 60%.
The last one of my affiliate marketing techniques that I am going to give you in this article is to make use of the free wordtracker keyword tool. Have a search on google and you will find it. Its completely free and this tool is one of the most important tools you will ever use when it comes to affiliate marketing. You are going to need to know how many people per day are typing in the keyword of the product you are promoting. For example, if you were promoting profit lance, you will type in \'profit lance\' into the wordtracker tool, and see how many searches come up. If no searches appear, ditch the product and move onto the next one. There is no sense wasting your time trying to promote a product when there is no one searching for it!
