What would your own personal online money generating empire look like for you? Would it mean more free time to do what you wanted to do in life, when you wanted to do it? Would it mean more time with your friends and family? More time with your kids? Maybe more time to devote to your hobbies or passions?
Would your money generating empire include selling products, services, or information? Would you be a super affiliate making your money by directing traffic to another person's website? Or would it be your own product? Would your entire system be automated, working hard for you morning and night?
Let's get right down to it shall we?
1) BE LASERED FOCUSED
To be successful online, and to start creating your money making empire, you'll need to be absolutely laser focused with everything you do. To be financially free, you'll need to become an expert at something. You'll need to do that one thing well and full of passion and intensity. Think of your past for a second. You have probably been involved with many different things. Even as I write this, you may be working on 4 or 5 different projects at once. And let me guess. Not one of them is highly successful is it? What do you think would happen if you dropped all but the one you think has the most chance of success, and focused with all of your might on that one product or service. Where do you think you'd be 3 months from now... 6 months from now... 1 year from now.
2) INVEST IN YOUR EDUCATION
Once you've decided on which project you want to take to massive success, learn 'everything' you can about it. Immerse yourself, and become 'the expert" at it. Don't be afraid to invest in your education. The more you learn, the more your differentiate yourself from everybody else. You become the expert.. the expert that others come to for information and advice.
3) TAKE ACTION
Now although there is a time for education and learning, without action you have nothing but your unrealized dreams. You need information and knowledge.. yes. But far too many people get stuck keeping up to date with the latest forum posts, guru's new information product or service, trying to learn the latest and greatest marketing tactics. And far too little people online actually take the advice or information they've learned and really applied it. You'll only succeed at the rate at which you APPLY INFORMATION LEARNED. What does that mean for you right now? Take the advice of NIKE and "just do it" my friend. JUST DO IT. Don't think and do it right now.
4) THINK INNOVATION
Rather than do what everyone else is doing, do new and innovative things to get the job done. I like to work by the axiom "DO, REVIEW, and PLAN" rather than the traditional "PLAN, DO, REVIEW." In other words, experiment on what works, review what works, and plan your attack again. This is true innovation at work.
5) BE BETTER
Look at what's working for your competition and then 1-up him or her. Don't just settle for doing what they are and expecting to make the same money. Remember, they already have a jump start on you. Don't do it the way they're doing. Do it better. Focus on 1-uping your competition and you are sure to draw business and money your way.
6) THINK BIG
Henry Ford said it best, "Whether you think you can or can't you're right." We are generally the expression of our inner-most dominant thoughts. So if you feel you can't make money online - you're right. If you think you can generate $10,000 in monthly residual income online you're right. So choose your thoughts wisely. Think big, and big things will follow.
7) GIVE IT YOUR ALL
Be willing to give your dreams of a 24 hour money generating empire everything you've got. Just like in school when you needed to graduate, what did you do? You did everything you needed to do to acquire your degree right? You studied all hours of the night, you studied weekends, and you gave up your hobbies. You literally did whatever ever it took to get the job done right? Take this same action steps with your online business. Set a goal, and DON'T STOP until it become a reality.
