Spending quality time with children is probably one of the most important things for their development and to your relationship with them. Our daily routine and lack of time make it difficult for us to give our children the attention they deserve. In order to insure that our children our happy we need to make the time for them. Here are 6 ways to do so:
Indoor-
1. Cook together:
Cooking together with your children is a great way to turn your have-to-be-done daily and boring task into a fun and exciting activity. Cooking with your kids encourages the development of their very important skills. Furthermore, you will teach them the importance of cleaning up after themselves. And of course, you\'ll get to spend a few hours of joy with them.
2. Paint together:
Painting together with your children is a very easy and cheap way to develop your child\'s creativity. It is also an excuse to bring out the child in you. Just take some large paper sheets and a range of paints and get as wild as you can. Don\'t forget to praise your children and tell them how pretty their drawings are.
3. Raise a play together:
Before your next visit to Grandma and Grandpa find the time to come up with a short play that you and children can perform before them. Take some funny old clothes and costumes and let your children\'s imagination run free. You\'ll be amazed at the ideas kids come up with.
Outdoor-
1. Go on a picnic:
Wait for a sunny and warm day, take some bread, cheese, drinks, and fruits and put them in a basket. Take a ball to toss around, sunscreen and your child\'s favorite toy and as easy as that you have a wonderful day for the entire family.
2. Take a hike:
Choose a suitable route for your children and go on a day of hiking. It will give you plenty of time to tell them stories about you and listen to theirs. You can also teach them about the animals and plants in the area.
3. Go to the beach or the pool
All you need is a bathing suite, sun screen and a lot of high spirits. Playing in the water is one of the most enjoyable activities for children and adults alike. It\'s a great bonding experience for you and your children.
